Samuel Judah James Kellerman

We are great even if we do say so ourselves.

Bright Light Innovation was founded by Samuel Judah & James Kellerman. Two passionate innovators who grew increasingly frustrated at the slow pace of change and lack of consumer focus in large companies.

Samuel Judah

Samuel Judah has spent 12 years in the automotive industry, working in the product development environment for Ford Motor Company. He passionately believes that creating an energised and empowered team environment, in which talented people can freely express their views and opinions, is the key to delivering excellence. He has recently taken part in the BBC TV series, The Apprentice. Samuel is now director and co-founder of Bright Light Innovation, continuing to influence products and services for a broader range of clients.

Samuel developed and pioneered the use of a consumer focused innovation process that is now an integral part of product development at Ford of Europe. He led the innovation effort at both vehicle concept and feature level. He created a number of Innovation prototype vehicles which have radically changed Ford’s future vehicle portfolio. These new products will enter the marketplace in 2008/9. Previously, Samuel was responsible for cross carline lifestyle strategy, and developed a number of breakthrough vehicle concepts.

James Kellerman

James Kellerman has spent 8 years in the automotive industry before leaving to co-found Bright Light Innovation, a creative consultancy dedicated to making peoples lives better through insight and technology. At Ford Motor Company he was a key member of the Advanced Product Group, creating advanced technology exhibits to demonstrate the excellence of the company to the media and customers at international motor shows. This work won many plaudits including a D&AD award for interactive design and a Design Week nomination.
In addition James played a crucial role in the development of Ford of Europe’s first formal innovation process. Helping transform product creation into a consumer driven innovation process that has since become the standard.
James is a strong consumer advocate particularly in the area of emerging digital technologies. He is a passionate spokesperson for the end user in a time of increasing complexity, bureaucracy and legislative driven technology development.
